A plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
TAMPRO (Tanzania Muslims Professionals, Reg. No. 8994) respects your privacy. We only collect what we need to respond to you, process your contributions and run our member services, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, subject and message, used only to reply to you.
- Donations: online gifts are processed by our payment partner ClickPesa. We receive the amount, your mobile number (for mobile money), a payment reference and the payment status. Your mobile money PIN and card details are entered with ClickPesa or your network, never on this website.
- Member app: if you register as a member, the details you provide (such as your profile, contributions and payment history) are kept in the TAMPRO member app, which has its own sign-in.
Caching
To make the site load quickly, especially on mobile data, pages and images are cached by our servers and your browser. Cached content is the same public content every visitor sees. No personal data is stored in the cache, and donation and contact requests are never cached.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, unless we are required to keep it (for example, financial records of donations);
- withdraw consent for optional cookies or communications.
